As of June 30, 2021, Ken retired from Rise CPA after over 40 years of service to the firm and is looking forward to enjoying his retirement with his family and friends.
Ken founded the firm and was an original partner in EPR Canada in 1980. EPR Canada was one of the largest public accounting groups in the country. A long-time resident of the Tri-Cities, Ken established EPR Coquitlam and grew his business from a rented desk in a small office to being the largest partner office in EPR Canada.
Ken sat on the Board of EPR Canada for many years before holding the post of National Chairman of EPR Canada for six years. He also served on various CGABC boards and committees, including Ethics and By-Laws. He sat on the Steering Committee for Douglas College’s David Lam Campus in Coquitlam and was treasurer for the Coquitlam Foundation for eight years. He also served on the Eagle Ridge Hospital fundraising committee.
Ken was active in the community and participated in local organizations including Boy Scouts, the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, and the Coquitlam Foundation.
