UPDATE – PROGRAM EXTENSION: B.C. PST Rebate on Select Machinery and Equipment
Our previous blog post B.C. PST Rebate on Select Machinery and Equipment summarized the details of the temporary PST program aimed to help corporations recover from the financial impacts of COVID-19. The B.C. government recently extended the rebate period by six months. PST paid on purchases of certain machinery and equipment up to March 31, 2022 can qualify for the rebate, and applications must be received by September 30, 2022.
Leased goods
The rebate can now apply to PST paid on leased goods beyond the original November 30, 2021 rental period cut-off, extended to May 31, 2022.
