Retirement Announcement – Ken Richardson

After more than 40 years of dedication and service to this firm, our founding partner, Ken Richardson, has retired from Rise CPA.

One of the founding members of EPR Canada in 1980, Ken was one of the key driving factors behind the success and expansion of the firm, growing it to 39 offices across Canada. He served as the national EPR Chairman & board member from 1989 – 2000 and also held the EPR International chair from 1996-2000.

When Rise rebranded a number of years ago, Ken had built a firm that differentiated itself from others, by focusing on being a client-centric, full service firm without silos. In providing full services, he was instrumental in the development of the Canadian tax practice, US tax practice, business advisory and M&A practice.

Ken leaves behind a remarkable legacy, and while Rise won’t quite be the same without him, the remaining partners and staff look forward to continuing his passion for client service and ensuring that Rise remains the premier business advisor in the Tri-Cities area and beyond.

We want to thank Ken for his hard work and consistent encouragement over the years and wish him all the best with his retirement!
