The Gustavson School of Business Conference (GSBC) is an annual, student-led, three-day event showcasing distinguished keynote speakers and engaging workshops. This allows students to build long-lasting connections with their peers. GSBC provides a unique combination of both personal and professional development experiences. We at Rise are thrilled to support such a worthwhile event organized by such a dedicated team at the Commerce Student Society. This is our way to help develop and invest in future business leaders.
More than 100 delegates attended this year. Students were provided with the opportunity to hear from incredible speakers and enjoy a formal awards gala evening. They also competed in a challenging academic case competition, bonded through a team-based outdoor activity and celebrated the wins of their cohorts over the past two semesters.
This GSBC was one of the first in-person, post-covid events of many students’ academic careers. We hope that this was a highlight of their year, and we look forward to sponsoring more Commerce Student Society events in the future.
