Health officials in Canada are continuing to remind people about the importance of social distancing to stop the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home and only leaving for emergency cases. The situation has been changing by the hour, and we’ve been following it closely.
The team at Rise CPA has decided to shut our offices and work entirely from home starting Monday, March 23rd. Our priority lies in ensuring all our clients, staff and their families remain as safe as possible. That said, we are working as usual and have our systems set in place to enable quality service. We are requesting that everyone communicates as follows for the time being.:
- Any information shared with us can be done by:
– Scanning and emailing your documents to your accountant at Rise;
– Using ShareFile (secured method of providing documents). Please contact the office at 604-936-4377 or your advisor directly to have a link sent to you. - All meetings should now be done by phone calls or video conferences. We’ll be more than happy to schedule that for you as needed. If you are unsure as to who to contact, please call 604-936-4377 to be directed to the appropriate staff member.
- Avoid driving to our office to drop off your documents since we will remain closed starting tomorrow until further notice.
- We are still available on phone calls and emails as usual.
It is vital that, as members of our greater community, we do our part to limit the spread of this pandemic during this unprecedented time. We appreciate our clients and alliances being patient and cooperating throughout this unprecedented event.
