Our team was lucky enough to participate in this year’s Hike for Hospice organized by the Crossroads Hospice Society. Crossroads Hospice Society has been providing compassionate support to those facing end-of-life and their loved ones since 1988. This year over 300+ hikers were able gather in-person and remember their loved ones in a meaningful and joyful way. Rise CPA was one of the sponsors of this wonderful event. We were also part of the 35 registered teams that raised over $50,000 for the charitable organization.
The Crossroads Hospice Society promotes the importance of hospice care and raises funds for end-of-life care and grief support. The money raised will help support people living with terminal illness and their loved ones. This 5K walk raised awareness of the many challenges faced by hospice palliative care. This hike also promotes the wonderful work that all volunteers and professionals in the field perform daily. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised at Hike for Hospice stay in our community.
