Gordon works with clients to facilitate divestitures, carve-outs, acquisitions, and investment structuring along with any other significant undertakings.

Gordon graduated from UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BCom) and following this obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation. He holds a Strategic Management Certificate from CPA Canada and Commercial Lending (CLCA) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute.

He began his career in public accounting, completing audit, assurance, and tax engagements for private and public companies. After this, he joined a large North American bank where he originated term debt, leveraged buyout, and real estate financings for Canadian and American entities. Gordon then joined a private equity fund (buy-side) in a senior leadership capacity; his role included: leading the origination team, deal structuring, due diligence, transaction execution, closing, and divestiture planning.

In the community, Gordon is currently a volunteer with CPA Canada’s Financial Literacy program. Previously, he was a Junior Golf Development Program volunteer at Marine Drive Golf Club and a regional fundraising leader with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Gordon is multi-lingual, in addition to English conversing in both Cantonese and Mandarin. He is an active golfer and hiker, participating in the occasional competitive golf event and loves bagging new summits.
