Trevor applies his twenty years of experience in public practice toward helping clients achieve success in the ever-changing world of business.
Trevor was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and grew up in the great outdoor playground of Deep Cove, British Columbia. He is a graduate of SFU with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual concentration in marketing and organizational behavior. Realizing the value of a career in accounting, Trevor completed the BCIT Accounting Diploma program while working full time for a real estate investment company doing full-cycle accounting.
Trevor started his career in public practice at the bottom of the totem pole when he joined EPR Coquitlam in 1997 as a CGA student. Receiving the legacy CGA designation in 1998 was a defining moment for Trevor. Shortly thereafter he became a manager at EPR, working closely with clients to develop his accounting, tax and advisory skills. In 2005, Trevor embraced the fabulous opportunity to be a Partner in EPR.
In addition to providing accounting and assurance services, Trevor enjoys doing business consulting and identifying tax opportunities for individuals, businesses, and corporate groups. He has also been helping clients maximize their tax credit refunds through SR&ED for the last ten years. Trevor provides services to a broad range of business sizes and industries, having the most interaction with small and medium-sized businesses wanting to grow.
Trevor manages operations for the firm. He is also responsible for managing our accounting firm’s IT requirements, working to keep Rise CPA at the leading edge of IT innovation in delivering our accounting, tax and advisory services.
Trevor serves as a panel member on the CPA Discipline Committee. He recently finished nine years on the board of directors for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce serving as the treasurer.
