Amy Felgate 

Manager, Administration

Amy’s leadership skills guide an effective and efficient Administration team focused on supporting Partners, Managers and team members, while ensuring Rise processes are up to date and in line with CPA standards.

Originally from South Africa, Amy studied law and hospitality earning both a Paralegal Diploma and a Hotel Management Diploma. With more than 20 years of administrative experience supporting senior levels, she has worked in various industries including insurance, banking, construction and the food industry.

Early in her career Amy realized that her passion lies in the ability to create efficient processes, allowing her to streamline workload and to maximize support for her team and the organization.

In 2018, Amy moved to Canada and shortly thereafter joined the Rise team. In her role as Manager of Administration, she uses her years of experience to assess situations objectively, identify optimal process improvements and ensure seamless support for leadership and staff.

In addition to leading the Administration team, Amy also assists Adam Plank with the management of the Rise office, with a key focus on internal processes, ensuring they are in line with CPA Canada standards.

Outside of work, Amy volunteers as a field hockey coach and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
