Phil graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Science Degree and British Columbia Institute of Technology with an Accounting Diploma. He began his professional career as a tax specialist with one of the large national accounting firms in 2019. In this role, he provided tax compliance and tax assurance services to public and private corporations. After joining Rise in 2021, Phil completed all levels of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course. With knowledge honed from working at Rise, he now provides tax consulting, tax re-organization, and compliance advice.

Outside of work, Phil likes to spend time staying active and staying connected with family and friends.
