Ryan’s focus is on ensuring clients are tax compliant, which includes meeting all their respective filing requirements in each tax jurisdiction, as well as ensuring that clients are managing their income and assets in a tax-efficient manner.
Ryan is a Principal in the US Tax Group at Rise. He graduated from the University of Windsor, ON with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, and he began his professional career with one of the large national accounting firms in 1999. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Ryan has worked with several different practices across the country as he migrated from Ontario to British Columbia in 2010. He joined Rise in 2019 starting the US tax practice. Over his career, his focus has been on providing compliance and consulting services to individuals operating in a cross border environment. He is a trusted cross border advisor to his clients.
Ryan is passionate about spending time with his young family and pets and enjoys collecting sports cards and has always had a passion for movies and film.
